Good grief the weather has been reet pishy today. TW arrived and we were all snoozing. The offer was made and we all accepted.....into the yard we marched one big old team again. Firstly we went into the school for a skip about and nom. The we went into our beds. TW mooched about all soggy like and sat on a bale of straw chatting to us and reading a magazine.
ZM arrived and they were nattering. FFS!!!!!! fecking lets do some work woman!!! I started having a tantrum. TW accepted the challenge, tack on, including colourful Bitless bridle and off we went out in the pouring pishy rain. Fab!!!
TW + Bitless bridle is interesting. Now I've not hacked in a Bitless bridle for a long time. Indeed we've only done it once before I think a couple of years ago. So off we went , down the drive and into the village. Amazing. Lovely and relaxed reins, did some leg yielding to the street then down onto the bridlepath. Feck it was like a jungle down there!!
Practised a bit of stopping , no probs. through the hedge and along the field. Snorty snorty dragon pony. Through the other hedge, trotty trot, walk. Lovely. AAARGGGHHHHHH Fooking dog monster barking!!!!! I spooked off in canter and into the crops. Oops. Stopped nicely. Who needs a bitty shitty? Snorty, snorty dragon pony. Up a hill and through some weeds and bak onto the path and heading home.
On the last bit we practised trotting with the teensiest of aids. Easy peasy. TW was so happy. I was lovely and relaxed.shame we couldn't canter. Little munch and a battle over more munching then a stroll together back to bed for some grub. Lovely.
