Jeez Louise TW was at the field early. I ignored her, then saw her debating whether to bring Tom in instead. Feck. I came in nicely. I decided not to have a bath though and didnt particularly want to be brushed either. TW gave up.
She gave me a debrief and gave me the rules. I understood. Just before I got on the box I had a big poo and walked on perfectly. TW was pleased. I was excited. I stood nicely all the way. And stood nicely in the box when we got there. TW was even more pleased.
Off the box, loads too look at and grass to nom. Information overload. I did everything. TW tacked me up sharpish. Oliver arrived and a bit later TW jumped on and we got going. Woohoooo.
We were at a place called aylesford. It was a pleasure ride with cross country jumps. Amazing. Me and TW have barely jumped in our time together. I have never done x country. TW has done a tiny bit. Hahahahahah!! It would be rude not to jump though.
We hacked round in walk and every so often we did a tiny jump. Sme were easier than others. Lots were spooky. I made sure I cleared them substantially. TW does a nice ping in the air. Olive had to avert his eyes. His human looked concerned. TW was loving it. We managed 6 different jumps in total including a tiny ditch, some log things, some bleddy scary flower pot things and a really scary yellow thing. Good lord! I was shattered.
Baxk at the box I fidgeted lots, broke my beads and tried to break my reins. TW was mardy. She washed me off and chucked me baxk on the box while she sorted our rosette then it was baxk to the yard for a graze, a bath and then back to my buds. Great morning. Need to get fitter though. Phew. Can't wait til next time.
