eeeeeeee, the worrier was worrying today, she thinks I'm feeling a bit poorly again :( I think she might be right! The grass was frosty this morning , thats not so good for sensitive flowers like me.
She came up bright (or very dark!) and early this mo, chucked the wee Brack some hay and took me into the stables for some grub. She commented on how nice and big and shiny my eyes seem today and snuggled down with me to have a cuppa (bless her she's not very well!).
Anyhoo, when I was munching away, my right hind felt a bit fidgetty and I twitched it up and down a few times, TW thinks this isn't such a good sign :( We had a little ride around the yard , practicing some bends and halts ( did them well today) and then had a mooch around the village. I felt awful though, I just wanted to walk really slowly with my nose on the ground (TW thinks that's not good too). We did a wee rein-back by a window and TW could see that that damn right hind was loads stiffer than the other :( She jumped off me and we walked back to the yard and I stopped by the stables and it was really hard to get moving again - not sure if it was cos of my muscles or whether I was just distracted!
My speedibeet was nice and runny today which I enjoyed, TW remembered she hadnt been putting the vit e/selenium juice in my feed, wonder if thats making a difference? After I'd eaten TW decided to try me with my 100g rug on to see if that helped my stiffy bits, Zoe's mum said she'd put some pink stars on it for me THAT SOUNDS NICE!!! We had a wee pootle back to the field, it was nice and sunny and I was pleased to see Brack again although he didnt want to share his hay with me!!! ICKLE GIT!!!
TW came back again later and gave us some more of that lovely hay by Timothy, she decided to take the rug off (make your mind up woman!!!). I wish I could live in a field of timothy hay!!! Grass gives me belly ache :(
So come on 'fess up Frank, was something really up or were you winding up TW?
ReplyDeleteI think pink stars would look lovely on your rug.
