Why on earth is the weather so mild??? Tis most bizarre!!

The worrier was up nice and early today, Monday again! Dear Lord!! She had a close beedy eye on my right hind - she thinks its a bit tight in the stifle area so she gave it a nice massage while I was eating my hay. Fortunately she let me eat my speedibeet first (it had got the wierd vit e and selenium stuff in it)!!

Halfway through my hay she had a brain wave!!! Oh yes - she decided that we could go for a walk around the field as apparently I need daily exercise (living out 24/7 isnt enough? FFS!!!). So up the field we marched (slowly as I am a bit sore) up towards the water trough her head-torch lighting our way. But Hark! What was that noise? The sound of thundering pony hooves flying behind us....that fecking eejit Brack thought he was missing something and had himself a pony panic attack! He caught us up and then mooched back to his hay, then repeat three times! FFS Bracky-pants, you have the brain of an impulsive goldfish...I'm gonna get some of those swishy cognitive asessment thingy-ma-bobs to figure out exactly what goes on between those teeny pony pixie ears of yours!!

Anyhoo after lots of rubs and hugs off she went, "See you laterz" she called...WTF?? You're dementing now too love ITS MONDAY!!!

Later on in the day we had our regular check to see if we are all ok, TW was a bit confused to receive a text saying we "looked hungry"...I can just imagine the look on her face LOLOLOL "hungry?? how on earth can they be hungry...." But we got some extra hay anyway! Heheheheeh

It was a reet drizzly mizzly day but after all of our eating we were feeling nice and dozey. I'd just settled down in my grubby corner when we saw a light floating down the track towards us and a really wierd noise. Holy Feck!!! It sounded lke someone was dragging a dead body down towards us for burying in the field! And as Brack pointed out, in our village nothing would surprise us! But beggar me it was only that cheeky trickster worrier again!!! With practically a whole bale of hay!

Now as soon as she saw us she knew we weren't really hungry...there's a sure fire way to know if we need grub - if we shout we want something, if we don't we're fine! She gave us the grub anyhoo ( all lovely Timothy hay) and although we didnt rush we both glided elegantly up to the piles and began delicately nibbling ( nah we started stuffing our gob like only greedy ponies can, dear worrier does that mean my insulin is being naughty?? ? While we were eating TW did some poo picking....Hmmmmm she muttered, for hungry boys there seems to be alot of poo and alot of grass still...how peculiar!

It was nice and mild in the field but when me and Brack were hypnotized into a hay filled trance the cheeky bleddy hay bag thing blew up in the air!!! RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!

So run we did, TW noticed that my hinds are a bit stiff in canter (poor Bracky she wouldnt even notice if he flew off and orbitted the moon! Only joking!). She reckons I was standing ok-ish when I was eating though which is a good thing. And you'll never guess what....she moved a few fence posts too! YUMMMMMY!!!!

  1. Haha wish I oould have seen you walking round your field in the dark with TW and her headlight on. What a sight that would have been. Where do they get these strange ideas from?
I need some ideas on how to get my human to spend a bit more time with me. I miss those long hacks we all did in the summer. Miss watching your lovely bum as we did so too hahahaha
