Firstly, I'd like to say that it was fecking Baltic this morning! When TW got to the field Brackie looked like someone had covered him in icing sugar and I had wee icicles hanging from my chin. How bleddy rude is that? TW thinks that we've lost the ability to forage for food and look after ourselves as every time anyone comes to see us we're either eating hay or stood waiting for hay or huddled waiting for the magic fence to move. LOOK BRACK PEES EVERYWHERE ON ALL THE GRASS!!! IT'S GROSS! Plus, if you ain't gonna rug us and you ain't gonna stable us the very least you can fecking do is GET OUT THAT TIMMY HAY!
Rant over, she caught us we came I to the stables and we got down to some serios nomming. So far so good. Even better there was no sign of any stinky pinky girls anywhere. Next thing, big ole rob and rose come in to the stables, hmmmmm interesting. Then TGTM arrives (hahaha that's you screwed Bracky boy!). After some serious munching with our pjs on they finally decide to get tacking us up. Rosie's mum is later but what's new there? Hehehe.
TW noticed that I had a wee stiff hind today - I do a wee string halty thing sometimes, and she was worried that I was gonna be reet stiff. I thought she would give me the day off but no, I had to practise me circles around the yard while we were waiting for the other nobbers to get ready. Typical! Tried to grab a wee apple by the tree but was denied. Gutted.
Anyhoo, eventually the four of us set off to only the blimmin country park. AMAZING! not been there for ages. Bracky was a bit jumpy at the back cos he kept getting left behind hahaha short slow pony legs! And that made TGTM nervous. I was a good boy though and helped her out and the big beans waited for him too. That main road was really busy today so we were glad when we turned into the park. We had a lovely amble round , a big tractor passed us and we went passed three Pompey black horses that tried to show off. Rob wanted to go and be their mates but I said knickers to that!!
after about 45mins TW said she wanted to turn back cos she didn't want me getting too pooped, that was kind of her. T show my gratitude I bombed off in trot hehehehe. Sorry flower ! When we got by the big posh house a stupid terrorist appeared (border one I think). I wanted to follow us and was round all out feet and tails. Cheek bogger even barked at me! Grrrrr! I growled at him and treated to kick him, numb nuts gkept following us though. TGTM loves them dogs and wanted to keep him. Hehehehe.
we were nearly back at the road when The big beans warned us that there were some volunteers in the hedge! WTF?? Stupid feckers only started up a petrol chopping machine thing when we was going past! Made me mad! wasn't scared though but TW was and said in a squeaky voice "can you turn it off please.". Them boggers only ignored her. Poor Brack was proper scared and froze up like a lolly pop so I went back to save him, he did a lovely sideways canter thing to say thank you!! We got past the nobby volunteers, I gave em a good dirty look as we went past, don't they realise that's sometimes we ponies get jumpy??
TGTM was a wee bit worried about the main road on the way back so we had a cunning plan to keep her safe. Bracky walked on the path and I walked next to him, slightly in front or course cos m better than him. That made him feel nice and safe despite the cars that whined past us a bit too close. I was very proud of myself and TW said we wuz both good boys. Before we knew it we were back in our jammys nomming more food in the staBle. TW reckoned we'd been out nearly 90mins which was fab!
After a nice cheeky rest she chucked us back out to the field which was nice and defrosted and we got stuck into the grass. YUM! I had a good fast trot and even a wee canter on the way down tot the grass and tW was pleased with how I looked.
What good boys we are!
I am gutted you all went out without me! As for calling us stinky pinky girls that's not what you call me when we are on are own is it?
